Grousewoods is a neighbourhood within District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, which is situated in the Metro Vancouver metropolitan area.

Transportation

Grousewoods is very car friendly. Coming across a parking spot is generally easy. In contrast, commuting by public transit is challenging in Grousewoods. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are usually nearby. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the municipality are located in places that are not very well-suited for walking because very few daily errands can be run without the use of a car. Even though families often choose to travel by bicycle, bicycling is also at times challenging in Grousewoods as there are a limited number of bike lanes, and there are quite a few elevation changes.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are easy to walk to from anywhere in Grousewoods. However, there are no high schools in Grousewoods. With regards to eating, in most cases, a car is needed to purchase groceries. However, a cafe is on average a reasonably short stroll away.
