Central Chilliwack is a neighbourhood within Chilliwack, British Columbia, which is located in the Greater Chilliwack metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is a fairly pleasant part of Chilliwack for cyclists. In particular, cyclists do not face significant hills. It is also easy for people travelling on foot to get around in this part of the city; most daily needs are convenient to meet without the use of a vehicle. Driving is a fairly good medium of transportation in Central Chilliwack. It is convenient to come across a parking spot. However, the public transit service in this part of the city is rather poor. Nonetheless, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most residences.

Services

The closest supermarket in Central Chilliwack is usually only a short walk away. A small selection of restaurants and cafes is available as well. As far as education is concerned, it is a rather short walk to reach daycares and schools from any location in Central Chilliwack. Apart from public schools, there are private elementary and high schools.

Character

Central Chilliwack is reasonably quiet, as the streets are peaceful - although that is not the case near the airport (Chilliwack Airport), one of the railway lines or Trans-Canada Highway. Parks aren't well-situated, making it very hard to access them from many locations within this area.

Housing
