Transportation

Aberdeen is very car friendly. Accessing a place to park is quite easy. In contrast, Aberdeen is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually just around the corner. Travelling on foot is not very practical for residents in Aberdeen because very few daily errands can be run without the use of a car. Aberdeen is also not very conducive to bicycling since there are a fair number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and the cycling network is rather limited.

Services

There are only a limited number of primary schools in this part of the city and therefore they can be an extended walk away. In addition, Aberdeen does not contain any high schools. Furthermore, parents and their kids may find it very difficult to get to daycares as a pedestrian. Concerning eating, house buyers in Aberdeen almost always have to use a car to travel to the closest supermarket. Nevertheless, pharmacies are typically easy to access on foot and sell some staple foods.

Character

Aberdeen offers a relaxed ambience and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. This part of Abbotsford is very quiet overall, as noise from the streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue around Trans-Canada Highway or the airport (Abbotsford International Airport). Finally, it is easy to reach green spaces from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood, since there are a few of them nearby for residents to visit and many properties for sale have a park very close by.
