Transportation

Sumas Way is reasonably conducive to walking; many common errands can be run on foot. In contrast, this part of Abbotsford is not especially cycling-friendly because there are few bike lanes, and riding is rendered difficult by the often hilly terrain. Sumas Way is an extraordinarily good part of Abbotsford for travelling by car. Coming across a parking spot is easy, and many real estate listings are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Trans-Canada Highway. However, commuting by transit can be challenging in this part of Abbotsford as a result of the service's low frequency. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is linked by a few bus lines, and bus stops are commonly nearby.

It is very easy to reach the closest supermarket by walking in Sumas Way. Residents can enjoy approximately 30 restaurants and coffee shops as well. This area is also good for those who enjoy quiet surroundings, as the streets are generally quite calm - although that is not the case close to Sumas Offramp Way, Trans-Canada Highway or one of the railway lines.
