It is convenient to get around by bike in Historic Downtown. It is also convenient for pedestrians to navigate Historic Downtown; many common errands can be run on foot, and plenty of businesses are nearby. This part of Abbotsford is very car friendly. Many real estate listings are a rather short drive from the closest highway, and parking is quite easy. However, this area is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are around 10 bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and bus stops are usually nearby.

Services

Parents and their children will find that no matter where their property is situated in this area, schools and daycares are nearby. Besides public schools, there are private primary and secondary schools. When it comes to eating, reaching the closest supermarket on foot is practical for some, but not all, house buyers in Historic Downtown. Conversely, this area is a fairly good place in which to eat out, and a limited number of cafes can be found as well.
