However, the transit system in South Riel is rather poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to find a nearby bus stop from most houses. It is easy to travel by bike in this part of St. Albert since the bicycling infrastructure is moderately extensive. It is impractical for pedestrians to get around in South Riel since many daily needs are challenging to meet without a car.
