Watermark

The neighbourhood of Watermark is part of the city of Lethbridge, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Lethbridge metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in this area. It is especially convenient to come across a place to park. On the other hand, Watermark is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. Travelling on foot is not very practical for home buyers in Watermark since very few daily needs can be carried out without the use of a car. However, Watermark is reasonably bicycling-friendly as riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain.

Services

It is a very short walk to reach daycares from anywhere in Watermark. However, parents and their schoolchildren may consider it very hard to get to primary schools and high schools as pedestrians. With respect to food, it is very difficult to access the nearest grocery store by walking from most properties for sale in Watermark. Likewise, it is convenient to walk to the closest coffee shop.

Character

The character of Watermark is exemplified by its relaxed environment. The noise levels in this neighbourhood are very low, as the streets are very peaceful. Finally, it is easy to reach public green spaces since there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in.

Single detached homes are the predominant housing type, representing the majority of dwellings in Watermark, and the remainder are mainly duplexes. This area experienced its biggest construction boom following the year 2000, so most of the available housing stock is from this time period. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Around two thirds of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners whereas renters occupy the remainder.
