The neighbourhood of Watermark is part of the city of Lethbridge, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Lethbridge metropolitan area.

Transportation

Watermark is very car friendly. It is very easy to park. In contrast, Watermark is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. It is very difficult for pedestrians to move around in this area because very few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle. In contrast, the bicycle is a reasonably good means of transportation in Watermark as there are a limited number of hills.

Services

It is a very short walk to reach daycares from anywhere in Watermark. On the other hand, there are only a very small number of primary schools and high schools in this part of Lethbridge and thus they can be a very long walk away. When it comes to eating, it is very difficult to access the nearest grocery store on foot in Watermark. Moreover, a cafe is commonly just around the corner.

Character

Watermark is a very good neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm environment. This area is very quiet, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour. Lastly, it is easy to get to parks from the majority of locations in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them close by for residents to visit.

Housing

In Watermark, about 70% of dwellings are single detached homes, while duplexes are also present in the housing stock. This area is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Around two thirds of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and renters occupy the remainder.
