Transportation

The preferred method to get around in Yorkville is usually driving. Coming across a parking spot is generally easy, and the majority of houses for sale are a rather short drive from the nearest highway. In contrast, the public transit service in this part of the city is not very frequent. Nevertheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. Despite the fact that this part of Calgary features a reasonably good bicycling infrastructure, biking is sometimes difficult in Yorkville as there are a good number of slopes for cyclists to brave. Walking is also not very practical for home buyers in this area because very few common errands can be run on foot.
