Located within the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Yorkville is a neighbourhood in Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Yorkville is very car friendly. Parking is generally easy, and the majority of homes for sale are a reasonably short drive from the closest highway. On the other hand, the public transit system in Yorkville is quite poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the nearest bus stop is generally a short distance away. Yorkville is not particularly suited for biking because the cycling infrastructure is not very well-developed, and the area is not especially flat.
