Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Scenic Acres is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

The best approach to navigate this area is very often driving. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from anywhere in this part of Calgary, and it is very easy to find a parking spot. In contrast, the public transit system in Scenic Acres is somewhat poor. Nonetheless, rapid transit stations, including Crowfoot Station on the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain, are not especially far-removed from the greater part of residences in the neighbourhood. The neighbourhood is served by approximately 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. Scenic Acres is reasonably amenable to bicycling as the cycling infrastructure is extensive. Scenic Acres is not especially conducive to people who like to get around on foot because few day-to-day errands can be run without a car.

Primary schools are very easy to get to on foot from most homes for sale in Scenic Acres. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this part of the city.
