Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Tuscany is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta.

Transportation

Driving is an excellent medium of transportation in Tuscany. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in this neighbourhood, and parking is generally easy. In contrast, the public transit system in Tuscany is not very convenient. Nonetheless, there is Tuscany Station with access to the Red Line - Somerset - Bridlewood/Tuscany CTrain. The neighbourhood is connected by around 10 bus lines, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. The bicycle is a good method of transportation in Tuscany because there are a fair number of bike lanes. It is difficult for pedestrians to navigate this neighbourhood because very few common errands can be run on foot.

Services

Both primary and secondary schools are convenient to get to on foot from most houses for sale in Tuscany. On the other hand, families may consider it difficult for their children to access daycares as a pedestrian. With respect to eating, some, but not all, house buyers in Tuscany will live within walking distance of the closest grocery store. There are also a few restaurants and coffee shops in Tuscany.
