Part of the Greater Calgary metropolitan area, Old Town is a neighbourhood within Airdrie, Alberta.

Transportation

People who appreciate residing in a community that's walkable will welcome the pedestrian-friendly nature of Old Town; many day-to-day needs can be carried out without the use of a vehicle. Biking is also convenient in this neighbourhood as the bicycling infrastructure is fairly good. The public transit infrastructure in Old Town is rather limited. On the other hand, driving is an excellent medium of transportation in this part of the city. It is a short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in Old Town, and it is straightforward to park.
