Christie Park is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

This part of the city affords property owners the choice between several methods of transportation. The public transit service in this area is fairly good as a consequence of Sirocco Station with access to the Blue Line - Saddletowne/69 Street CTrain, and about 10 nearby bus lines. On the other hand, getting around on foot in this part of Calgary is not very popular, although running common errands is easy without a car. A fair number of residents in the area use their bicycle since there are a good number of bike lanes. Driving is often the preferred means of transportation in this part of the city. Finding a place to park is quite easy.

Services

Families will appreciate that wherever their home is situated in Christie Park, both primary and secondary schools are nearby. However, there are only a limited number of daycares and consequently they can be an extended trip away. With respect to eating, in vast majority cases, a vehicle is needed to buy groceries. Nonetheless, it is generally a short stroll to the nearest pharmacy, which can supply some basic food items.
