Located in the Grande Prairie metropolitan area, Northgate is a neighbourhood within Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Transportation

House buyers who want to be in a walkable area will enjoy the moderately pedestrian-friendly character of this part of the city; most daily needs are easy to carry out without a vehicle, and a variety of businesses are moderately close by. It is also easy to get around by bike in Northgate as the cycling network is reasonably comprehensive, and there are not many slopes to confront cyclists. Getting around by transit can be difficult in this area due to the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are ordinarily very close by. However, the car is usually the best means of transportation in Northgate. It is very easy to park, and most homes for sale are a very short drive from the closest highway.

Services

Parents and their children will welcome the proximity to both primary and secondary schools, which are within a short distance from the majority of houses for sale in this neighbourhood. In contrast, there are only a very small number of daycares and thus they can be a very long walk away.
