Located within the Grande Prairie metropolitan area, Northgate is a neighbourhood in Grande Prairie, Alberta.

Transportation

This part of the city is a fairly convenient part of Grande Prairie for pedestrians; running common errands is easy without a vehicle, and various businesses are reasonably close at hand. It is also easy to travel by bicycle in Northgate since it is a flat ride to most destinations, and the cycling infrastructure is good. The transit access in Northgate is fairly poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and most properties are very close to a bus stop. In contrast, driving is very often the preferred way to get around in Northgate. Finding a parking spot is quite easy, and nearby highways are particularly easy to access from anywhere in Northgate.

Services

Both primary and secondary schools are easy to get to without needing a vehicle from most homes for sale in Northgate.
