Heritage Valley

The neighbourhood of Heritage Valley can be found in the city of Edmonton, Alberta, which is situated in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Travelling by car is especially convenient in this part of the city. It is convenient to come across a place to park, and the majority of properties for sale are a rather short car ride from the nearest highway. However, Heritage Valley is not an especially pleasant part of Edmonton for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far from most properties. This part of Edmonton is amenable to biking since the topography is moderately flat, and there are a good number of bike lanes. Heritage Valley is not very suitable for people who get around as pedestrians as carrying out daily needs is challenging without a vehicle.

Lastly, although Heritage Valley does not contain any parks, public green spaces are especially well-spread out in nearby neighbourhoods, resulting in them being easy to access from numerous locations in this part of the city.

Heritage Valley experienced its largest building boom following the year 2000, so most of the available housing stock is from this time period. Single detached homes and row houses are the main housing type in this part of the city. Around 90% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 10% are occupied by renters. This area also has a variety of unit sizes - notably, this part of Edmonton is good for those looking for three bedroom homes.
