Situated in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area, Ekota is a neighbourhood within Edmonton, Alberta.

Transportation

Ekota is reasonably amenable to cycling as bicycle riders do not encounter significant slopes, and this part of the city features a fairly good cycling infrastructure. It is also easy for pedestrians to navigate this neighbourhood; many common errands can be run without having to resort to a vehicle. Cars are a fairly good mode of transportation in Ekota. It is a rather short drive to the closest highway from any location in Ekota, and parking is generally easy. However, Ekota is not an especially convenient part of Edmonton for travelling by public transit. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is typically just around the corner.
