The neighbourhood of Ekota is part of the city of Edmonton, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Edmonton metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cycling is easy in Ekota because there are a limited number of hills for cyclists to brave, and the cycling infrastructure is reasonably well-developed. Active house buyers will also appreciate the quite pedestrian-friendly nature of Ekota; most daily needs are convenient to meet on foot. Driving is very often the best method to get around in Ekota. It is a rather short car ride to the closest highway from any location in this area, and parking is easy. In contrast, Ekota is not particularly transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences.
