McKenzie Towne is a neighbourhood within Calgary, Alberta, which is located in the Greater Calgary metropolitan area.

Transportation

The car is usually the preferred transportation option in McKenzie Towne. Many houses for sale are a short drive from the closest highway, and it is easy to park. In contrast, public transit riders may experience limited choices in this neighbourhood by reason of the infrequent service. Nonetheless, there are about 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and most homes are very close to a bus stop. This area is appropriate for bicycling as the terrain is moderately flat, and the cycling network is good. Walking is not particularly practical for residents in this neighbourhood as meeting daily needs is at times challenging without needing to resort to a car.

Services

A fraction of property owners in McKenzie Towne may be able to access the nearest supermarket by walking, while others will have to use another means of transportation. A limited variety of restaurants and coffee shops is available as well.
