Transportation

The car is usually the favoured method to move around in Hawkwood. It is very easy to park. In contrast, the public transit network in Hawkwood is not very convenient. Nonetheless, homeowners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close. It is occasionally difficult for pedestrians to get around in Hawkwood as few common errands can be run without having to use a car. However, this part of Calgary is quite amenable to bicycling.

Services

Families will find that no matter where their property is situated in this neighbourhood, daycares and primary schools are close by. However, there are no high schools in Hawkwood.
