Transportation

Evanston is very car friendly. It is a reasonably short car ride to the nearest highway from any location in this area, and it is convenient to park. On the other hand, Evanston is not very transit friendly. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. The bike is a good mode of transportation in this part of Calgary because the bicycling infrastructure is moderately well-developed. This area is not very convenient for pedestrians because very few day-to-day errands can be run without a vehicle.

Services

It is a rather short stroll to get to both primary and secondary schools from any location in Evanston. On the other hand, families may consider it difficult to access daycares on foot. Concerning eating, the nearest grocery store in Evanston is typically only a rather short distance away.
