  • Famous actor Victor Jory, most known for his villainous roles in the 1930's films The Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Gone With the Wind, was originally from Dawson City, Yukon.
  • The Kluane National Park Reserve is home to Canada's tallest mountain, Mt Logan. The mountain features peaks of over 5,000 meters in height.
