Situated in the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area, Silverspring is a neighbourhood within Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is especially car friendly. It is very easy to access a parking spot, and it is a short car ride to the nearest highway from any home in Silverspring. On the other hand, the public transit service in this area is rather poor. Nevertheless, there are a few bus lines passing through the neighbourhood, and it is especially convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. Silverspring is quite appropriate for biking since the cycling infrastructure is reasonably good, and there are not many hills to confront bicycle riders. This part of Saskatoon is not very suitable for those who travel by foot as many daily needs are sometimes challenging to carry out without the use of a car.

Services

Families will find that no matter where their property is located in Silverspring, daycares and primary schools are close by. However, there are no high schools in this area. With regards to eating, a vehicle is almost always required in this neighbourhood to access the nearest supermarket.
