Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in Elk Point. It is very convenient to park. However, the public transit system in Elk Point is rather limited. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. Elk Point is not very suitable for those who travel by foot because many daily needs are impractical to meet without the use of a car. The bike is a somewhat poor mode of transportation in this area because the cycling infrastructure is not very comprehensive. Nevertheless, cyclists do not encounter significant hills.

Services

In all but a very small number of cases, a vehicle is needed in Elk Point to access the closest grocery store. As far as education is concerned, families will value that wherever their home is situated in this part of Saskatoon, daycares are nearby.
