Brighton

The neighbourhood of Brighton is part of the city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, which is situated in the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is very often the best approach to get around in Brighton. Parking is generally easy, and the city block layout is moderately appropriate for cars. On the other hand, the public transit service in Brighton is not very frequent. Although there are a limited number of elevation changes, and riding a bike is more practical in some pockets than others, this area is not especially amenable to cycling since the bicycling network is not very well-developed. Many of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in places that are also not very conducive to people who prefer to travel by foot as few daily needs can be carried out without a car.

Services

It is occasionally practical for house buyers in this neighbourhood to shop for groceries by walking. There are also a few options for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes. When it comes to education, it is a rather short trip to get to daycares from most properties for sale in this part of Saskatoon. In contrast, this neighbourhood does not have any primary schools or high schools.

Character

Brighton offers a good selection of green spaces to enjoy. Although Brighton is not home to any parks, parks are especially well-distributed in nearby neighbourhoods, which results in them being easy to access from numerous locations in this area. Lastly, this neighbourhood is relatively quiet, thanks to the presence of very few pedestrians.

Housing

In Brighton, the vast majority of buildings are single detached homes, while duplexes make up most of the remaining housing stock. This area experienced its biggest construction boom after the year 2000, so most of the available housing is from this time period. This part of the city offers mainly four or more bedroom and three bedroom homes. Roughly 85% of the population of this neighbourhood own their home and 15% are renters.
