Downtown

Located within the Greater Regina metropolitan area, Downtown Regina is a neighbourhood within Regina, Saskatchewan.

Transportation

Downtown will attract home buyers that value a diversity of methods of transportation. With about 10 nearby bus lines, the transit in this area is fairly good. People who appreciate walkability will also be pleased with the pedestrian-friendly character of this part of the city; many daily errands can be run without needing to use a car, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. Moving around by bicycle is easy in Downtown because there are a limited number of elevation changes, and the cycling infrastructure is good.

Services

Both general and specialty grocery stores are typically accessible within a reasonably short distance from anywhere in this area. Furthermore, there are a good number of opportunities for those who appreciate nearby restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, in this area, parents and their children will usually be able to access primary schools and daycares by walking. However, Downtown does not have any high schools.

Character

Downtown offers a broad selection of green spaces to enjoy, despite its sometimes busy ambience.
