Silverspring is a neighbourhood within Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, which is situated in the Greater Saskatoon metropolitan area.

Transportation

This neighbourhood is especially car friendly. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from any location in this neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to park. In contrast, the public transit service in Silverspring is not very frequent. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most residences are very close to a bus stop. It is challenging for pedestrians to get around in this part of the city because few common errands can be run without having to use a vehicle. In contrast, Silverspring is amenable to biking as there are a fair number of bike lanes, and it is an even ride to most destinations.

Services

Families will appreciate that no matter where their house is located in Silverspring, daycares and primary schools are nearby. On the other hand, there are no high schools in this area. With respect to eating, property owners in Silverspring generally have to use a vehicle to reach the nearest supermarket.
