Transportation

The best transportation option in Parkridge is very often driving. The majority of real estate listings are a reasonably short car ride from the nearest highway, and it is convenient to access a place to park. However, public transit riders may experience limited options in Parkridge due to the infrequent service. Nevertheless, house owners are served by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually around the corner. Cycling is easy in this neighbourhood because there are a fair number of bike lanes, and there are not many slopes to confront cyclists. It is occasionally difficult for pedestrians to navigate this neighbourhood since running daily errands is sometimes difficult without the use of a car.

Services

It is frequently feasible for house buyers in this neighbourhood to do their groceries without a car. When it comes to education, daycares and primary schools are very easy to reach as a pedestrian from most properties for sale in Parkridge. However, there are no high schools in this area.

Character

Parkridge offers a slower-paced environment and will appeal to those who enjoy spending time outdoors. The noise levels in this neighbourhood are very low, as the streets are usually especially peaceful. Finally, parks, such as James Girgulis and Morris T Cherneskey, are very well-spread out and there are a few of them nearby for residents to unwind in, which makes it easy to get to them from many locations in Parkridge.

Housing

About 70% of the units in the neighbourhood are occupied by homeowners and 30% are rented. Single detached homes and townhouses are the predominant housing type in this area. Roughly one third of properties in this part of Saskatoon were constructed between 1960 and 1980, while most of the remaining buildings were built in the 1980s and the 2000s. This neighbourhood is primarily composed of three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes.
