Westerra is a neighbourhood within Regina, Saskatchewan, which is situated in the Greater Regina metropolitan area.

Transportation

Driving is usually the preferred approach to navigate Westerra. It is especially convenient to park. On the other hand, Westerra is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by a few bus lines, and most properties are near a bus stop. It is sometimes difficult to commute by bike in Westerra because the bicycling infrastructure is not very extensive. Nevertheless, there are a limited number of slopes. It is also very challenging for people walking to navigate Westerra as almost no daily needs can be met without having to resort to a vehicle.

Services

Westerra does not contain any high schools or primary schools. Likewise, daycares are not numerous and consequently not always within walking distance. In terms of eating, in all but a very small number of cases, a car is required to shop for groceries.

Character

Westerra offers a calm environment and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time in green spaces. This part of Regina is very quiet, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue. Lastly, although Westerra is not home to any parks, public green spaces are especially well-situated in nearby neighbourhoods, which results in them being easy to access from numerous locations within this area.
