Transportation

The best method to move around in La Baie is very often driving. It is very convenient to park. La Baie is not very conducive to those who travel by foot as running common errands is very challenging.

Services

Families may find it very difficult to reach high schools and primary schools as pedestrians. Moreover, there are only a very small number of daycares and accordingly they can be a very long walk away. With respect to food, it is very rarely practical for property owners in this part of the city to shop for their groceries on foot.

Character

La Baie is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - however some parts can be quite noisy, especially around the airport (YBG) or the railway line.
