The borough of Jonquière is part of the city of Saguenay, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Saguenay metropolitan area.

Transportation

Moving around by car is very convenient in this borough. Nearby highways, such as Autoroute 70, are quite easy to access from any location in this area, and it is straightforward to park. However, travelling by transit can be challenging in Jonquière due to the low service level. Nonetheless, the borough is connected by approximately 20 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close. It is at times difficult for pedestrians to move around in Jonquière because few daily needs can be carried out without the use of a car. However, the bicycle is a fairly good mode of transportation in Jonquière.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are convenient to walk to from most houses for sale in this area. On the other hand, families may consider it challenging for their kids to get to high schools on foot. Regarding eating, some, but not all, property owners in Jonquière will live within walking distance of one of approximately 10 supermarkets.
