Valois is an extremely convenient part of Pointe-Claire for driving. Many homes for sale are a short car ride from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute du Souvenir, and it is straightforward to access a place to park. Nonetheless, train stations, including the Gare Valois with access to the Vaudreuil-Hudson Line, are ordinarily a short walk away from the bulk of residences in the neighbourhood. In this neighbourhood, many dwellings are single detached homes, while large apartment buildings are also present in the housing stock. Most housing in this part of Pointe-Claire was built prior to the 1960s, during its most significant construction boom. This neighbourhood offers mainly two bedroom and three bedroom homes.
