The neighbourhood of Fairview can be found in the city of Pointe-Claire, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Fairview is a fairly pleasant part of Pointe-Claire for pedestrians; many daily errands can be run without a vehicle. Biking is also convenient in this part of the city because riding is facilitated by the generally flat terrain, and the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably good. Travelling by public transit is sometimes difficult in this part of Pointe-Claire. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is linked by approximately 20 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly very close by. In contrast, the preferred transportation option in Fairview is usually driving. Nearby highways, such as Autoroute Félix-Leclerc, are very easy to reach from any home in this part of the city, and parking is easy.

Services

A supermarket is ordinarily reachable within a short stroll from most houses for sale in Fairview. There are also a limited number of opportunities for those who value restaurants and cafes in close proximity. When it comes to education, in this part of Pointe-Claire, families will commonly be able to get to high schools on foot. However, there are no primary schools in Fairview.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in Fairview, as well as some areas with a vibrant feel. More specifically, there are a few parks nearby for residents to visit, including Fariview Forest, and they are especially well-distributed, which results in them being easy to reach from a large number of locations within Fairview. At the same time, the majority of streets have below average tree coverage. This neighbourhood is relatively quiet, due to the presence of few pedestrians, although noise levels are higher closer to Autoroute Félix-Leclerc or the railway line.
