Transportation

In contrast, walking in this part of the city is not very popular, even though most daily needs are easy to carry out without having to use a vehicle. HoMa South is a fairly pleasant part of Montréal for bike riders. For instance, there are a limited number of slopes. Cars are also an excellent medium of transportation in this area. It is easy to find a place to park, and it is a rather short car ride to the nearest highway, such as Autoroute 25, from any location in this part of the city.

Character

There are a lot of green spaces to enjoy in HoMa South. More specifically, it is easy to reach parks in the neighbourhood since there are a few of them nearby for residents to check out. Despite the abundance of public green spaces, the tree canopy coverage for the majority of streets is fairly bad. Thanks to the presence of few people out and about on the streets, this area is relatively quiet; however there can be higher levels of noise for those who are closer to one of the railway lines or Autoroute 25.
