Transportation

Regardless of the means of transportation, it is rather easy to move around in Val-Royal. Val-Royal is a fairly convenient part of Montréal for travelling by public transit. For instance, the neighbourhood is linked by approximately 10 bus lines, and bus stops are commonly around the corner. Val-Royal is also rather suitable for pedestrians; running common errands is convenient without a car, and a fair number of businesses of different types can be found as well. This neighbourhood is reasonably conducive to biking because there are a limited number of elevation changes to challenge cyclists.

Services

It is very easy to get to the nearest supermarket without the use of a car from any home in Val-Royal. In addition, a restaurant is often just around the corner, and residents can enjoy a few cafes as well. When it comes to education, daycares and schools are very easy to reach on foot from most homes for sale in this part of Montréal. At the elementary level, there are both public and private schools.

Character

Val-Royal offers a calm environment and will appeal to home buyers who enjoy spending time outdoors. There is a good amount of greenery in this area; there are a few public green spaces nearby for residents to discover, such as Parc de Louisbourg, and they are especially well-distributed, making them very easy to reach. Residents will also find that numerous tree-lined streets are prominent. This area is quiet overall, as noise from streets and other parts of the city is rarely an issue.
