Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Père-Marquette is a neighbourhood within Montréal, Quebec.

Transportation

This part of Montréal does not necessitate use of a car because various other modes of transportation are available. Père-Marquette will draw house buyers who appreciate residing in a compact area because it is very well-suited to pedestrians; all day-to-day errands can be run without a car, and a variety of businesses are reasonably close at hand. Père-Marquette is also an extraordinarily convenient part of Montréal for cyclists. More specifically, there are numerous bike lanes, and there are a limited number of elevation changes. Owing to Fabre Station on the Ligne 5 - Bleue, and about 10 nearby bus lines, the transit network in this part of Montréal is very accessible. In contrast, moving around by car is occasionally difficult in Père-Marquette. Nevertheless, nearby highways are easy to reach from any location in Père-Marquette.

There is a reasonably good selection of entertainment venues, there are masses of people around most of the time, and places to go out at night are well-spread throughout the neighbourhood.
