Transportation

La Petite-Patrie is an excellent neighbourhood for car-free transportation options. Thanks to many nearby rapid transit stations on the Ligne 2 - Orange and Ligne 5 - Bleue, and about 20 nearby bus lines, this area is a very pleasant part of Montréal for travelling by public transit. Home buyers who appreciate residing in a compact area will also be pleased with the very pedestrian-friendly character of this part of Montréal; many day-to-day needs are very convenient to carry out without the use of a car, and a good number of businesses of different types can be found as well. La Petite-Patrie will appeal to active people as it is very suited for bicycling. More specifically, there are a limited number of slopes to challenge cyclists, and there are a good number of bike lanes.

However, accessing public green spaces, such as Parc du Père-Marquette, is very easy from most locations in the neighbourhood since there are about 10 of them nearby for residents to explore.
