Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Auteuil is a neighbourhood within Laval, Quebec.

Transportation

This area is rather car friendly. It is easy to park. However, the public transit system in Auteuil is not particularly accessible. Nevertheless, homeowners can depend on the Gare Sainte-Rose with access to the 12 - Saint-Jérôme. House owners are served by about 10 bus lines, and bus stops are not very far away from most homes. Biking is easy in Auteuil as there are a limited number of hills for cyclists to brave. It is at times difficult for people travelling by foot to navigate this neighbourhood as few daily needs can be met without a car.

Services

Daycares and primary schools are very easy to get to by foot from any location in Auteuil. However, high schools are not especially numerous and accordingly not always within a short distance. Families can choose between public and private elementary schools.
