Jonquière

Part of the Greater Saguenay metropolitan area, Jonquière is a borough within Saguenay, Quebec.

Transportation

Cars are a great transportation option in Jonquière. Nearby highways, such as Autoroute 70, are very easy to drive to from anywhere in this part of the city, and it is very easy to park. In contrast, the public transit system in Jonquière is not very convenient. Thankfully, there are around 20 bus lines crossing the borough, and it is very easy to find a nearby bus stop from most homes. Jonquière is not especially suited for biking because there are a fair number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, and the bicycling network is sometimes poor. Travelling on foot is also not especially feasible for house buyers in Jonquière since few common errands can be run without the use of a vehicle.

Services

Primary schools and daycares are convenient to access on foot from most houses for sale in Jonquière. In contrast, families may find it difficult to get to high schools as a pedestrian.
