Transportation

Driving is an excellent transportation option in this neighbourhood. It is very convenient to park, and nearby highways, such as Autoroute Félix-Leclerc, are fairly easy to drive to from anywhere in this area. On the other hand, Cap-Rouge is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are about 10 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and the closest bus stop is usually very close by. Many of the houses for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are not very convenient for pedestrians since few daily errands can be run without the need for a car. However, it is convenient to travel by bike in Cap-Rouge.

Services

In Cap-Rouge, families will usually be able to access primary schools and daycares as pedestrians. On the other hand, it can be very difficult to reach high schools on foot. When it comes to food, it is very rarely practical for home buyers in Cap-Rouge to shop for groceries by walking.
