The neighbourhood of Laurentides is part of the city of Québec, Quebec, which is situated in the Greater Québec City metropolitan area.

Transportation

Laurentides is very car friendly. It is very easy to park. In contrast, Laurentides is not very transit friendly. Nevertheless, there are around 20 bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most houses. Walking is not very practical for property owners in Laurentides because few day-to-day needs can be met on foot. This neighbourhood is also not particularly suited for cycling as bike riders are faced with a considerable amount of slopes, and the bicycling network is fairly poor.

Services

In Laurentides, parents and their children will generally be able to reach primary schools on foot. On the other hand, Laurentides does not contain any high schools.
