Situated in the Greater Québec City metropolitan area, Laurentides is a neighbourhood within Québec, Quebec.

Transportation

Laurentides is very car friendly. It is convenient to find a place to park. However, travelling by transit can be difficult in this neighbourhood due to the low service level. Thankfully, the neighbourhood is served by about 20 bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is generally just around the corner. Laurentides is not particularly cycling-friendly as there are few bike lanes, and riding is made arduous by the typically sloping terrain. This area is also not very convenient for walking since meeting daily needs is difficult on foot.

Services

Doing one's groceries very often necessitates the use of a vehicle in Laurentides. Nevertheless, reaching the closest pharmacy and accordingly some basic food items is generally convenient.
