Transportation

Cars are an excellent medium of transportation in sector R. Most properties for sale are a very short car ride from the closest highway, such as Autoroute René-Lévesque, and it is convenient to come across a parking spot. In contrast, sector R is not particularly transit friendly. Nevertheless, homeowners are served by around 10 bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most houses. Sector R is conducive to cycling because cyclists do not encounter serious elevation changes, and sector R has a good bicycling infrastructure. Travelling on foot is not especially practical for residents in this neighbourhood since most daily needs are at times challenging to carry out without the use of a vehicle.

Services

It is a rather short walk to access schools and daycares from most homes for sale in this part of the city. Families are served by public and private secondary schools. With respect to eating, some, but not all, home buyers in this neighbourhood will reside within walking distance of the nearest grocery store. This part of Brossard is quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour - although that is not the case near Autoroute René-Lévesque.
