Part of the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Sector L is a neighbourhood within Brossard, Quebec.

Transportation

The favoured transportation option in sector L is usually driving. It is very convenient to come across a place to park, and the majority of real estate listings are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute de l'Acier. In contrast, the public transit infrastructure in sector L is sometimes poor. Thankfully, there is Du Quartier on the Gare Centrale - Brossard. There are approximately 10 bus lines traversing the neighbourhood, and bus stops are not very far away from most houses. Getting around as a pedestrian is not particularly convenient for residents in sector L since running common errands is occasionally difficult without a vehicle. The bike is a somewhat poor means of transportation in sector L. Thankfully, there are a limited number of elevation changes for cyclists to brave, certain pleasant sectors for cycling exist, and the bicycling infrastructure is good.

Services

It is difficult to access the closest supermarket by foot in this part of the city. Residents are served by about 30 restaurants and coffee shops as well. Concerning education, in this part of the city, parents and their children will typically be able to get to daycares by walking. In contrast, primary schools may necessitate an extended trip to get to, and there are no high schools in this area.

This neighbourhood offers mainly four or more bedroom and two bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy about three quarters of the properties in the neighbourhood and renters occupy the remainder. The homes in this area are very modern, since the vast majority of its dwellings were built after the year 2000, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed 1960.
