Transportation

Lakeroad is conducive to bicycling since there are a fair number of bike lanes, and it is a flat ride to most locations. This part of the city will also draw people who value living in a compact area as it is fairly suitable for pedestrians; many daily needs can be met without the use of a car. The transit access in this part of Dollard-des-Ormeaux is not very accessible. Nonetheless, the neighbourhood is connected by a few bus lines, and the nearest bus stop is usually very close by.
