Situated in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area, Holleufer Park is a neighbourhood within Kirkland, Quebec.

Transportation

Moving around by car is especially convenient in this part of the city. Most real estate listings are a short car ride from the closest highway, and coming across a place to park is easy. In contrast, Holleufer Park is not very transit friendly. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and the closest bus stop is usually around the corner. It is challenging for people walking to navigate this part of Kirkland since common amenities such as banks or post offices can be an occasionally long trip away. On the other hand, this part of the city is bike-friendly as Holleufer Park is home to good cycling infrastructure, and there are a limited number of slopes.

Services

Parents and their schoolchildren will appreciate that wherever their house is located in this area, daycares and schools are nearby. At the elementary level, both public and private schools can be found. As far as eating is concerned, some home buyers in this part of Kirkland may be able to travel to the nearest grocery store on foot, while others will have to rely on a vehicle. A limited selection of restaurants and cafes is available as well.

Holleufer Park is a great neighbourhood to buy a house in for those who prefer a calm ambience. Most areas in this neighbourhood are especially quiet, as there tend to be low levels of noise from traffic. Lastly, the greenery in this area is prominent as there are numerous tree-lined streets. Green spaces are especially well-distributed and there are a few of them close by for residents to unwind in, which makes them easy to get to.

Housing

In Holleufer Park, the overwhelming majority of dwellings are single detached homes, while townhouses are also present in the housing stock. This area offers mainly three bedroom and four or more bedroom homes. Homeowners occupy nearly 95% of the dwellings in the neighbourhood whereas the remainder are rented. About 40% of homes in this neighbourhood were built in the 1960s and 1970s, while many of the remaining buildings were constructed in the 1980s and the 1990s.
