Nonetheless, house owners benefit from a few bus lines, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most properties. Many of the houses for sale in this part of Dorval are located in places that are not very well-suited for those who travel by foot as common amenities such as hair salons or banks can be an occasionally long walk away. Although some pleasant sectors for bicycling can be found, and cyclists do not face serious slopes, Pointe Valois is also not especially cycling-friendly because this area is home to a somewhat poor cycling infrastructure.
