The neighbourhood of Pointe Allan is part of the city of Dorval, Quebec, which is located in the Greater Montreal metropolitan area.

Transportation

Cars are a great medium of transportation in Pointe Allan. The majority of houses for sale are a short drive from the nearest highway, such as Autoroute du Souvenir, and coming across a parking spot is easy. On the other hand, this part of Dorval is not particularly transit friendly. Nonetheless, there are a few bus lines crossing the neighbourhood, and it is very convenient to reach a nearby bus stop from most homes. This area is not very suited for cycling because the bicycling network is quite poor. Thankfully, there are few hills to confront bike riders. A majority of the homes for sale in this part of the city are located in areas that are also not very well-suited for those who travel by foot because daily errands are at times difficult to run without having to use a car.
