The neighbourhood of Parkdale is part of the city of Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island, which is located in the Greater Charlottetown metropolitan area.

Transportation

Bicycling is convenient in Parkdale since the bicycling infrastructure is reasonably good. This part of Charlottetown is also suitable for those who travel by foot; running common errands is easy. The public transit service in Parkdale is fairly poor. Thankfully, there are a few bus lines, and bus stops are not very far-removed from most residences. On the other hand, driving is an excellent medium of transportation in this neighbourhood. It is very easy to park, and many houses for sale are a short drive from the closest highway.

Services

It is very easy to reach the nearest supermarket on foot from any location in Parkdale. Likewise, there are a fair number of options in close proximity for those who appreciate restaurants and cafes. Concerning education, in Parkdale, parents and their children will usually be able to reach daycares and schools on foot.

Character

Parkdale is reasonably quiet, as the streets tend to be peaceful - although that is not the case closer to the airport (Charlottetown (Queen Elizabeth Hospital) Heliport).
